Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome (GTPS)

Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome (GTPS) is a common condition where the soft tissue that lies on top of your hip becomes damaged or irritated.
You may experience pain along the outer side of your hip and buttock, as well as pain when walking or lying on your side.

Treatment may involve steroid injections, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, and arthroscopic surgery.
