From my first meeting with Mr Makrides I felt comfortable discussing the issues with regard to my knee. He listened to me and appeared to take account of the fact that both myself and my wife have clinical backgrounds.

The discussion about the options for management was pitched at a level I understood. He was firm about his recommendations which gave me confidence. As far as I can tell, the procedure went well and 5 days post op I appear to be making a good recovery. We have arranged for my wife to see him for his advice about her painful hip.
